Ahead of The National Governance Conference, we have joined forces with Browne Jacobson's Victoria Hatton and Vicky Wilson, who delivered this webinar.Â
In this session they focused on how to handle complex parental complaints involving safeguarding. Starting with an overview of the Governor’s role in the school’s complaints process and leading on to the cross-over between the complaints process and the use of safeguarding information held by the school.Â
They looked at:
- how to gather information
- assess the situation
- maintain open communication, and
- document all actions taken
so that you have the skills and confidence to deal with these issues as they arise in your schools.
